Red Sonja

This is a modern, female dance party of an album, where little stories from life whirl with great emotions. As refined dreamers, facetious or fragile heroines, powerful shamans, impetuous young women or seasoned seductresses, these warriors of everyday life draw us into their combat and propel us into the world of love, life and death.
The spirit of Red Sonja's "Guerrière Rouge” (“Red Warrior”) is inspired by the eponymous heroine born in a 1930s science fiction short story, later transformed by Marvel into a hypersexualized fighter wearing a chainmail bikini. Lolomis in turn takes possession of this character and gives voice to those who have all too often lost it.
The linguistic tour — Bulgarian, Georgian, Serbian, Romani, Macedonian, Ladino — deploys a thousand sounds and colours with twirling, intertwined harps and flutes responding to electronic creations on a base of tribal warrior percussion.
