The vinyl revival has given Muddy Gurdy’s musicians the opportunity to release this anthology of their three albums. Knowing that 78 rpm records and LPs were, in their day, the essential vehicles for the discovery, dissemination and recognition of the blues, the trio's approach was clear: this is where we find all their sincerity, erudition and respect for this repertoire, which they illustrate generously, in their own way.
Is this the culmination or just a step along the way? No matter, today: Muddy Gurdy is continuing on its journey.
