Bella Ciao

« Bella Ciao » show revisited by the great names of nowadays traditional musicians. « Bella Ciao » was in 1964 the first of the great historical shows to make accessible the heritage of traditional songs gathered over the preceding decade : songs of labour, of struggle, of protest, as well as simple serenades, appeared in a programme that was not confined to specialists or political gatherings. It caused a shock. The show revived its triumphal run for several months, giving new blood to the Italian folk revival movement : here it is revisited by great names of nowadays traditional musicians.
