The Way Of The Lute

Two virtuoso instrumentalists fascinated by all the sorts of lutes that have been developed from Portugal to the Ural, via Morocco, Crete, Turkey, he Carpathians and Armenia. The title (“The  Way of the Lute”) is a tribute to Nicolas Bouvier, whose book «The Way of the World» recounts his long journey throughout the same territories, music as much the backbone as the goal of this musical voyage. The CD booklet includes the description and illustration of the various instruments played by Serge Bouzouki, Paddy Lemercier and their friends.
