Vaga Luna
In Italy, erudite music rubs shoulders with the folk tradition. An aria by Verdi can melt into a lament from Puglia, a Bellini melody turn into a Tuscany song… This misty musical landscape, at the same time funny and tragic, light and deep, poetic and ironic, comes from the meeting of Silvia Malagugini (vocals) and Maurizio Rinaldi (guitar). From the plains of the Po River to the marshes of Tuscany and the coves of some Mississipi-like river, comes the blues of an unfamiliar Italian soul, both romantic and mysterious.
