The guitarist, arranger and composer PAPA NOEL (Antoine Nedule Montswet) is one of the most prominent figures of African and Afro-Cuban music, as well as a legend of the Congolese rumba.  VIVIANE A (Viviane Arnoux) is one of the French accordionists who have carried the voice of their instrument to other cultures and music. Her eclecticism has taken her to large international stages alongside musicians from the world over.  “We met about 15 years ago during the international tours of the Angolan singer Sam Mangwana. We lost touch for 5 years and then met again in the veteran Congolese band Kekele. This was when the idea came to us to withstand the current crisis with a very small combo. Backstage, while we were warming up our instruments, the idea of a duo became obvious, just the two of us creating acoustic music both groovy and soft, straightforward and old-style – just music from the heart.”
